hello, hello......I'm back again!!...

To all my co-bloggers, visitors/guests and viewers of this blog, I'm giving you all my hot and sweet hugs to each and every one of you.Your presence on this blog was HIGHLY APPRECIATED. Apologies annoyed me but I need to do it again and I had no choice , Sorry...sorry for not visiting you back and not replying some messages you've left here.Those messages in comments sections are the sure thing that I could do to repay you and visits you in coming days.

So..I'll be here just once in a while due to some work load that even my daily walking task had stopped. Sad to say that I gained a lot!.... am fat!!.(grrr)am BIG FAT mama totally (sigh).Please don't ask numbers, huhu.

Ohhh... there's humors about FB addiction, I'm not considering myself as one of them . Everybody on that site has their own purpose to hang in there , so as I have mine too.I almost completed some games that I did and meet or get in touch to all that I wanted to meet. So I'm thankful to FB that I found THEM ALL.

Google adsense payment checque is not good in my location

Hello everyone.....

I was so frustrated for my adsense payments that until now I've never been changed it to become real money/dollar that my fingers could hold it on then go shopping.NEVER! come true.

In my view, the Google adsense payment checque is not good in my location. Last few weeks I went to the post office Natanya branch but they said it should be on the bank transaction. I was not convince on that because I knew that was there I need to go. I went again on same branch the next Sunday day off but still they pass it on to 3-4 persons then said to go to the bank. It's so hard here to find a truly public servant , I understand the culture which is heaven and earth different from my country in terms of public service.So , the next Sunday I went too early before the bank scheduled opening hours. No one assisted me because the one who was in-charged was not on duty that some told me to go back the next day which is Monday .I cannot go out on my work place in any days of the week excepting Sundays and that is my day off. In my eagerness to exchanged it I approach one in middle cubicle table.I was shocked how she acted on me but then I've always calm down . I felt what they have on their minds , I'm just caregiver.But suddenly one female came in then talked to me on a bit nice way and here I need to do for the adsense checque to exchanged.

****** I need to open a bank dollar account that is an EXTENSION BANK ACCOUNT to where I am working(employer).******This is the impossible things and will not happen what ever it takes. Funny but I was shocked after hearing it.

****** Then I need to deposit the checque and wait for a certain days to widraw it.****My goodness ! in just one hundred dollar I have a headache to go back and port to where I need to exchanged it? I'm sure if ever I get that 100$ I have already spend 200$ for medicines and taxi fares.

So , I decided to just kept on my wallet the Google adsense cheque for remembrance .

FIRST PAYMENT FROM GOOGLE ADSENSE

HELLO WORLD..... it is true!! yes ..it's true, I recieved the first payment from google adsense, I will exchange this check on Sunday at the post office. Sunday here is the first working day and Saturday is thier rest day of the week. This is a part of the google adsense program given to each bloggers like me. THANK YOU GOOGLE!!!

I almost lost my mind

SORRY..... to all EC droppers and co-bloggers specially to all regulars readers of this blog . I hope I'll be back in few days or soon .

Due to some work load on my daily life , it was not physically but it was mentally heavy for the past few weeks and days that I felt uneasy . I almost lost my mind that I can not write or I can't decide if I need to put it out here that I knew it will be a big risks on my children's future.I just kept on thinking about it until I noticed that I forgot something just in an hour ago. As I became tough through all thing where I had been I find the ways to recover on my own ways . I kept my self busy and looking on the web some games and funny videos on youtube until I played the farm town on facebook. I really enjoyed the games and found again some friends on other websites that played in there too.

Caregivers here are working 24 hours in 6 days a week that some needy workers don't have any day offs for several months . Case to case bases, some employers forced to stay because they save for giving salary compared to local workers and maybe some caregivers are badly needed of money . Sometimes going day off was more tiring than staying on each work or much better to stay at work without spending any cents.

As we caregivers are emotionally and totally attached to our dear elderly where we are serving our patients.This is a kind of job that your body is not working so much but your mind was working every minute specially if your working with half half Alzhiemers cases patients. Sometimes some caregivers said they are mentally tortured if the work they've got was so hard .

What I have eaten during Erev Hag 2009?

"Shana tova" and hag "zameach" that I heard as their greetings to each and every one with hugs and kisses to families and friends, wearing not so elegant but new and presentable . I loved looking at them on their happy faces welcoming their new year and another new beginning as they said.

First served was the juices and this kind of food that came from and purely fish pellet.This is the kosher food that my employer likes and most favorite. Every time they serve in the dinning, this is the first choice by both of us. Gefilte fish as they named it, so easy to prepare.Get recipe here how to prepare and cook this Jewish food.
This is the only fresh salad I've chosen and few slices of small tomatoes.These have mixed with pomengrates and ripe pig tree fruit as toppings.
Soup - something like meat balls but with dough, good taste.
Look at my dinner plate , it has fried rice with raisin's, beef and rolled chicken meat inserted with nuts and some herbs or veggies that I taste.
Oh..Oh..oh...wine moments now and here I am pouring my glass of red wine.Just below half of my glass ,I might not drive our toy car to go home. "Don't drive while you drunk" right?

There are a lot of foods prepared by the village kitchen chefs. I saw the bread, cakes and cookies.Fresh sliced of different kinds of fruits, cooked of dried mixture fruit called "komput".You pick what you want but I picked some and brought home, lol. Tea, coffee and colds drinks in another corner of the dinning hall. Great time and gathering that I included to my treasured moments here in my work place , Mishmar Hasharon.

EREV ROSHASHANA

On September 18,2009 will be the Jewish New Year's Eve holiday.They have dinner and I am sure I'll be sitting beside my employer.It is my responsibility that where ever she goes I'll be on her back or beside her. lol..

In the bible Israel is called as "the land of milk and honey", so during their new year's eve they always prepared a long table dinner for the whole family(private) and here in my work place(kibbutz) is for the whole village people gathered together.Erev roshashana is the new year's eve in the whole world celebrations. Roshashana means "head of the year" . So..expect me to eat all their foods speacially their fruits of the year.Here are some lists of fruits and each symbol why they need to eat and prepared all of these during new year.

Hello world..did you know that pomegranates has 613seeds inside of one fruit? I know Jewish counted this,lol.Just today and my first time ever I knew these, thanks to them sharing their knowledge and spreading their beliefs of new year holiday.This fruit is the number one special at the long table together with honey during the erev hag (new year's eve) .

Honey symbolizes the sweet whole year.

Bread, and other fruits was deepen to honey before swallowing, hehehe. I'm just following what they are doing specially if the family of where I'm working with is eating it.

Green spinach symbolizes for green year with good harvest in the farm. They also prepared rounded head carrots.

Dates as sweet also, black eyed beans, leek, apples and gourd and more leafy fresh salads.

Rosh means head , so they are eating the "head of the fish" which symbolizes the abundancy and fertility.

meet my new friend ERIKA

Hello guys....meet my new friend ERIKA, sexy, blond, white complexion, faithful friend and a good chef. Look at the image below, she brought me last night a big sliced of peaches cake she made. Waahhh....I did not slept until I did swallowed it all, sigh.Imagine she came after my heavy dinner, ahhhhhh...plus 1 kilo my score on weighing scale again in just one night grrrrr. But sorry she is already committed to one handsome local guy here in my work place.hehehe.Remember JHING_CUTIE ? her contract was finished and she will be going home to get marry to his pinoy (pa rin) bf that she found in Internet.
Erika love to bakes all kinds of cakes, bread and cookies . So you have the right to blame her why I am chubby but not slowly lazy caregiver now, lol.Soon I will feature here all the recipes she will be or we will be making , as I told you I am just a helper in times like this doing dish washing jobs. You know me where I had been and grown up. I am expert to all herbs cooking or those foods in the mountains or in the jungle.Sigh but proud as it was my reality of my life.

My'ONE'Sunday Exploring Jerusalem

Sunday, Sept 06,2009..I joined the "Jesus is Lord" groups (Natanya) for their tour in some biblical sites in Jerusalem. So..it is means that we went to most of the archaeological dug ups and under the grounds sight seeing ruins during the second temple of religious wars.

Our first stop by was in Mt. Olives that most tourist came for early morning sight seeing on the other side of the hills that we saw the city of David ruins and the tip of the golden dome.
I'm trying to ignored this beggar when I step down to our service bus but he hold my bag asking for alms.He still strong enough to work I thought, so I did not gave any cents.This is in Mt. Olives scene in front of the hotel.

On our way or before the service bus travel we are always praying, the driver was always the regular (suki na) contact with this groups and if he heard praying he respect also by turning off his car stereo music.....Why this two women not closing their eyes? hmmm...woman in pink was Sis Digna - maybe she was calculating our expenses silently on her mind and the other one is Dorothy...ahhh..I knew it, she is planning all the pauses she need to be on her photographs, picture maniac yan eh...hahaha like me.

Those are the miniatures of ruins of the Jerusalem during the second temple.It is sorrounded by concrete walls.Nice works and design talaga, kung baga sa plants bonsai pero mga infrastructure yan during the stone age. King David palace and the east west gates . etc.Steel railings are just high as above the waistline . In every corner or there are a lot of signages " do not climb " sa lupa naka lagay ang iba, ala naman akyatan ...nagtataka lng ako.
Jumping for joy in Israel Museum vicinity -mga nakawala sa amo hahaha
Ooppsss...seems there is serious forum here, sorry I didn't heard what it was.nag dugtong na kilay ni kumpare eh,..pero teka...kumare pala ...hehehe
here is the BREAD DEAL..how much is the one piece?hanep sa english eh.. 5-10 nis, what!? without gold?..how about with that pounded herbs and how does it taste? a lil sour and smell mints,there is a pepper taste also. ngeee...I remembered the "apog & buyo " then "nganga " for mangyan ..hahhaha
okey ...I want only one without that ground herbs because the streets on the way we are tracking was so clean they immediately will see if I 'll blow...So plain bread breakfast . I woke up 4am and I slept 2 am that night and now is already 10 am...
We just came out from the last suffer room at the rear building, why so happy ? because we saw the only one street bread vendor...all hungry...

Before we entered the city of David site/sanctuary I heard??? hehehe...we are all excited but when we came out there a lot of traffic police , they suspected the bag left in nearby trash bins has a bomb. So...we ran to our service bus and left the area immediately. alah! bilis namin ..hehehe

SURVIVOR: ISRAEL VERSION

ISRAEL version of survivor tv reality show "hisardut" as they name it here was the Philippines as their chosen location. Contrary to all those websites saying that it's airing will be in the month of October but it was already on the third night(tonight) for their third episode at channel ten(10) here in local tv stations . We are now in the month of September and not October as they stated in their previous reports.

First aired was last Saturday, it's already one week today and Sunday is our day off here. I don't know if some fellow caregivers encountered like mine .Early morning I went to the "Dohar"(post office) then on my way to the flat where I'm staying and even here in my area they used to asked me about my own native land . I passed thru the "hakenyon"(mall) in Natanya city,entrance guard asked me from where I am, they always mistakenly asking that I was from Thailand and sometimes from Nepal,they spoiled my day, lol. I'm always proudly answering from Philippines! then he told me what he had seen that last night , it was first airing of survivor Israel version.There are some locals approaches me inside the mall until I've gone through the place. I'm happy walking down toward the city center that despite of all negative shows for some caregivers ,they are now recognizing how was we are before we came here to work as caregivers.

They added that how nice my country Philippines was thru that airing of survivor. Some amazed because most citizen here are afraid or don't know how we are grateful to have the best and nicest islands that they will enjoy in visiting Philippines."Tiyul" is the word they said as they explored most cities world wide as a part of their life as an Israeli citizen.Before they render their duty as young soldier and after their duty as a soldier of the state of Israel they must go to places where they wanted to visit.And as of this time they're doing their complete research how the Philippines is. I'm glad and assured them for their complete satisfaction in visiting my country. One thing to say is most areas and islands has already one caregiver used to work here caring their elderly people. And lastly our second major language is an English dialects that even small children can speak and understand English word.

Caregivers Watch Lists #5-JEALOUSY

JEALOUSY defined as an emotions triggered to an opposite individuals with anger, sadness, disgusts and has a feeling of losing something at the end of thoughts.

Jealousy also had big role in care giving work due to different attitudes of every employer. Some caregivers had a hard time dealing their employer if they meet friends outside during their daily routine of giving her/him walking exercise.In this particular situation we caregivers looking each others and waving hands behind their back and we understand what does it means.There are employers got jealous then keeping their caregivers inside the house without talking to any one even on their own cellular phones.If we are outside during clinic appointments some employers don't want the doctor talking to the caregivers specially if it is in English.And to the extended family and friends of where the caregiver was serving,some elderly don't like to see them talking or having fun and they got jealous.

I have been there before my early years in Tel Aviv and in other areas.That is one reason why I don't stayed them in long period of time working even they asked favor to stay or for an additional salary.In the first month that I felt and observed uncomfortable I immediately informed and asked the manpower agency as early as possible all things happening.Then I'm giving them my decision to go and end my contract whether they approve it or not.

Yes and yes ... I need to work for a living , I want to have salary every end of the month but what is money if life is in misery? For me I cannot bring money in heaven , I can still earn money without jealousy and just in a nice way as long as I'm healthy and safe .

SHIV'A YOMIM

This is the Jewish tradition of mourning their relatives after funeral. "Sitting" as they called it here that all friends and relatives is coming to join each and everyone to where the deceased live. But if the certain house is not good or no spaces for their guests they announced it where like sometimes in the house or place of one of their children.

Mourning of shiv'a yomim is depend from what blood race they came from like my employer in Tel Aviv. They are from Teman, they are so religious that after funeral friends came early morning until almost midnight to pray .A lot of elderly came and go to pray and pray and telling of stories of their origins to the young mourners to know. My next employer was from Baghdad that they only pray on the 7th and last day of mourning.There are also friends and relatives coming during the day time.So...it is something like working in different family race has different custom and tradition we followed.Also the food and the languages that sometimes we need to know the important translation of each word .But the most effective is the sign language to do.

Shiv'a yomim or sitting is like a reunion of friends and relatives of the deceased.They are coming with all their special bake cakes, bread and cookies.Siting with fun stories to every groups of peoples on each tables .It was so differently in my home country of mourning.

I also noticed that during the funeral they are not crying much or for their best they could is holding their breath of not to cry.Never I heard any sounds of cry or any. They are still trying to show of a half smile to all who joined them of their sympathies and loss.

During this shiv'a yomim most caregivers are also helping and still counting their days as working days.But there are families that after funerals they just giving schedule to their caregiver when and where to meet to settle their last obligations to workers.Sometimes even funerals they don't let the caregiver see the final resting place of her/his employer where they work day and night for how many numbers of years. So this is the end of everything for the good relationships between families and their caregivers. Very rare to families that after funeral they can still call or talk to their caregivers how is she going.Mostly employers relatives never remember the hardships or maybe I thought because they paid it all .

My Employer's Two Best Friends Funeral

May they rest in peace. We attended my employer's two best friends funeral last Monday and yesterday, Tuesday. My employer was so sad that make her uneasy for the last few days and sleepless nights . The first one was older than my employer of about six months.They are best of friends since their very young age way back in Warsaw, Poland.The other one was younger than my employer but they are friends too since they've meet here and stayed in this kibbutz (village).

They have here different ways of funeral ceremonies. When one person died in the early morning they buried it immediately in the afternoon or before sunset if there is no family members they have to wait . If some children or grand children are need too come , the funeral office took and freeze the body in certain place. I don't know where , never seen morgue or funeral houses here.The funeral service van was big as like an ambulance that have complete stuffs needed for an emergency purposes. I am confused before that I thought it was also an ambulance but it was not .From the house of the deceased the funeral service personnel first checked the body then wrapped and tied with a cloth . They change the cloth to white and covered the coffin with black before the final walk up the grave.

Not all remains was using coffins that made of an ordinary plywood as thick as one fourth I've seen.I observed that the size of a coffin was longer than the height of each remains.In our country it was bad. It should be exact and no single centimeter distance above the head and below the feet of the remains.

First they gathered in one place like here they called it "mo'adon". This is a multi-purpose building where the painting exhibit show before, celebrating birthdays and other occasions, meeting of conferences, etc.Then next was the final walk up the cemetery.From the funeral service van they put directly to where its final resting place.They did not wait all people behind to see before they drop it to the hole.They don't have here a concrete grave which is elevated from the ground. It was dug and under the ground funeral. After all it was covered with sand every one was so silent . Every members of the family , sometimes friends or any one who want to say something how and what kind of person the deceased was or how to be a friend of the deceased, etc...etc...that most and every body was crying even I found grasping my teary eyed.

They fixed the grave after few months some are just in days, the above portion was put a concrete or marble finished with the names, date of birth and the day when they died. It was written sometimes where they came from and the cause of their death.

I'm Far from Normal for 2 weeks

We moved to another house since Saturday afternoon due to the shower and comfort room renovations. It said that they will finish it within 2 weeks or/and as fast as they could. Everything was far from normal for me and for my employer here . Sleepless night was the worst ever for our first two nights here. My employer complained that this house was so dirty that is why the whole parts of her body was all itching.The day before we moved here I cleaned up everything specially the place to where our stuffs had been placed. I have this problem during the day time that I can not sleep even the whole night of not sleeping. I'm still doing my regular daily routine that if she is still in bed I clean again the other corner of the house and if she woke up I clean the area where she was and to show her that everything was cleaned up. Sometimes it was psychological thoughts to an elderly and need to or let her see and comfort her as so there's no blames in later days to come .My employer always have a good time sleep during the day time.

I was just lucky that there is open connection here so I transferred my unit . I just ask the ten meter cable wire to reach the place where I put my pc so that I can blog.

Visiting DOME of the ROCK!

YouTube, air craft carrier tube and here is the lumber Dome tube!!.2X6(thick/wide-inch) lumber built as a tube service way to go inside the vicinity of the dome.There is no way or no one can escape here if you are already inside . lol.

Raising my hand to the side of the wishing wall and on the other side is where the sun shines to where we entered the main entrance of the western wall. Under my feet is the place where sometimes on tv news of something they dig for another history and discoveries.Imagine what I'm saying here - we are in Israel's territory and we are going to the Palestinian Arabs Holy Sites. Confusing!? and even do I . Please don't ask me more, thanks.
You will passed this Israeli Soldier guards but there is still in front of us ***the scanner room then before these is the first groups of guards. So don't try to bring any sharp item even the needle.okey?
End of that tube is this on the right side . While my groups are questioned of the looks they're wearing , so.. it is prohibited to roam around the place. Guards on that center point of the area instructed us to go the left side.....
...and here it is to rent some clothing just to cover the open area **the neckline and sleeveless wears. hmmpp...we stuck for half or more hours there that my companions decided not to go anymore. 80 shekels /pc (29$ est.) Last resort was I am the one who made deal until we reach to 10 shekels each (2.5$)...it's bargaining words ...we are not a tourist millionaire to visit here, we are just caregivers and how much salary we have ? the lowest salary according their law, we are not the white collar job workers here, so...our budget is only that amount while in fact we will return the clothing before we go out and there is no re-reimbursement for it . Am I right folks?....(wa-is gyud ini!medyo napaganda lng ang pag explain ko sa hebrew ko cguro)
Yeheyy...we are here in front of the golden dome that usually seen on tv news .Look what are the attire of my three companions . They are not allowed to go around or they must leave the area without that costume they rented. owwssss... looks funny.So don't wear blouses with open front and back. This is not the parking area and never could any vehicles enter the area. I turn around looking the edge of every corner walls they put up here and its a wide wide place to visit.I can't imagine seeing on tv news few years back when Palestinian President Arafat came here that this outside grounds and inside of the dome filled with peoples. Of course they are from Arabs families praying and praising Arafat's visits here. This area under my eye estimates is more than or more or less ten hectares or I don't know how wide to filled peoples that even throwing needles can not drop the ground . That was seen on the web satellite image before. Now I'm here where those Arabs came from and in what , where gates they walked through until they got inside.? Deep thoughts if you are here folks.
Behind me are prayers they said written in Arabic word. There is string around to avoid tourist stepping the spotted place . See that small piece of carpet where they knelled down during their prayers.
Did you see that old woman upstairs wearing in black? They have here also- the beggar!.
This is another group of tourist from Mexico , I asked one of them after their tour guide finished explaining about the place. We don't have tour guide and no need to get one!lol.
He is an Israeli tour guide greet me on his way up to the dome and we are going down from the dome.He greeted and ask me few words using Hebrew language and behind us are his tourists visitors.
We are in the half way of this wide area of the dome , here is the lower or the lower plaza and there is another building over there but we did not checked maybe next time .We need to go to another area to visit.
At last we are all outside of the DOME!! This is one way going to the western wall. It is also called as the old city of Jerusalem where most tourists go shopping for souvenirs.

This is the message from my tag board "survivor" early morning I've read today. Lil surprise me that I ignored for early moments of the day . My daily routine was wake up early doing my personal necessities then coffee time in front of my computer.And then I went back and scroll again the tag board.I have one hour before I will start my duty because today is Saturday , a day for the children's visits for their mother. I need to fixed everything specially my old woman before they come.

Immediately I went to the said blog, I never remember that it was blog on my list and checked the never listed blog name .I just added today The Composed Gentleman It came across to my mind to tell all my best friends blogger and the speedy few reply vote came out. It was a big puzzle for me WHO? recommends my blog in that certain site.But after lunch time for my two hours break I decide to publish.

In regard of this ...I would like to THANKS who ever behind this RECOGNITION as I could say now. This will give me a big boosts in my blog life , if somebody could imagine how to updates and maintains four blogs and at same I'm working as caregiver. I am private caregiver living 24 hours to an intelligent woman with all her children had a big names on billboards of this country Israel. This a puree life of caregivers experiences, as being my self and friends caregivers that I spoke with every Sunday hearing their stories.

Food cooking time folks and here is what I will share for all of you. I'm the fastest chef caregiver ever! lol. I always cook the easy easy ways like mixing all ingredients then taste it and that's it! Stirring sideways , clockwise or counter clockwise and even crosswise until it becomes sticky then become more sticky up to 30 minutes of rolling. Taste if the corn flour are cooked then put to any baking pan with any designs you choose and let it cold to fridge.So yummy.... below are the ingredients I bought and mixed to a cooking pot. please click to inlarge above image for the complete ingredients

Oooppss...the iodized salt should at least 1/2 teaspoon only and refined sugar will be depending on the sweetness you want to be. I just put one tablespoon so it is not too sweet or sugary fields , hehehe.

I'm far from Tel Aviv , the central home of most caregivers selling all Filipino foods during day off of Saturdays and Sundays and during our special, declared Philippine holidays.

And ....sorry I never saw this food on any occasions we've been since before. How many weddings,birthdays,barmitzvah(dibut) and dinner we attended. But take a look of all the ingredients I used its all from their supermarkets too.

A 40-year-old man died on Thursday morning at Petah Tikva's Beilinson Hospital, apparently as a result of complications from swine flu.

Though it was "not certain" that he died directly as a result of the H1N1 virus, the Health Ministry said that a connection "could not be ruled out," and decided to count him as Israel's sixth victim.

The man was admitted to a regular ward at the hospital three days ago, suffering from a light fever, and having been already diagnosed with swine flu. During his stay at the hospital, his condition improved, but on Thursday morning, he suffered a heart attack and died.

High fever and sour throat bothered my caregiver friend in Tel Aviv that she used to call me if she need to bring her 8 year son to the hospital. Worries to all not just locals but also to all migrant worker like us because the news around the country was dominated by this swine flu.For the whole week that all news on tv telecast until Friday ,August 07, 2009 the ministry of health announced the fifth victim of said H1N1 in the country.

The latest news as of yesterday , Sunday another 15 people or nearly under 60 reported in serious conditions and struggling to survive on its complications of H1N1.

Lucky enough that after giving some medications at home my friend son's fever was out in the mid day.She gave more fruits to swallow so phlegm was carried away from the throat and a lot of liquid intake as forms of drinks.Rest is also the main factor and need to do if there is something or if we are not feeling well.

Thanks to thuggie1 of this video on youtube.Giving on exact time of prescribed medicines for Alzheimer's is not a hard,hard task to do.For example today Alzheimer's patient take her medicines at exactly nine in the morning and four in the afternoon , tomorrow it should be in same time of today.If time covered is overlapped when taking medicines that will be the time they become crazy and wild.It hurts for those peoples around specially those who are near to their hearts seeing what is going on to the patients. Unbelievable because families, friends and neighbors who knew those patients. Capabilities and qualities of the patients itself is different of being who they are in previous days when they are together.`

On this video I found was stated some signs, symptoms and stages of Alzheimer's disease patient.Caregivers coordination's to the families of the patients is important to talk and hear the behaviour of the patients. Learning and coping up both strategy how to deal with in time of crisis or if the patient will get wild and crazy.One thing I observed and learned in my previous employer was how the son talk to his Alzheimer mother.Note if the families are already accepted the realities of having Alzheimer's parents or relatives, husband or wife's.The son narrated the happy moment's and the achievements of the mother during her early years that his mother was not yet suffering this disease. Believed me my patient/employer was smiling and laughing then , not in long period of time but in few minutes and it became silent and behaving in next hours.

Do you believed that Alzheimer patients can move things inside the house that you could hardly imagine? Or even you yourself you cannot transfer a washing machine from the bathroom area up to the outside door that is beside the elevator but if the Alzheimer's getting wild unbelievably they can do it.Note that I'm citing here an old woman suffering from Alzheimer disease but she is physically fit, she can make things alone but not in the right time and not in the right place or everything was in reverse way.I am always said that I'm not a medical expert nor a medical graduate, I'm just sharing what my experiences was and things what I've see and learned while I'm here as private caregiver.

Understanding to both caregivers and patients is one factor of having a success in caring of an Alzheimer's patient. Experts and specialist giving the life span of Alzheimer's patients but who knows when is the right time they go for rest and end their sufferings.

We must be more strong not just in words but in action together with prayers of what she left us for the future of our childrens, grandchildren and of the coming generations.We must show to the world that "WE FILIPINOS are still united until the end on fighting of our true freedom and clean to honest democracy". I'm not an activist and never involved to any activities.I even hates politics but not the politicians itself including their existing families.I do understand the so called "behind the camera is different and it is an opposite to each realities". To those new readers of this blog I would like to say that I am now working as caregiver to the mother of one prestigious politicians of this country ISRAEL but it does not bothers me who they are while they shown me a real and as one member of their family.

I felt the loneliness specially when the tv screen shown KRIS crying to all the words around she heard and received, she is grown up now and I'm sure more and more on coming days.I'm not an avid fan of hers but to her late mother I faithfully did and always be .The truth is I joined that ONE MILLION SIGNATURE for Tita Cory but sad to say I NEVER VOTE nor went to any voting center on that time of election.It was been a long and great convincing strategies of my schoolmates that we need to signed up that one million signature rolling in the universities. Why? I promise to myself I will never vote again because I grewn during that dictatorship regime so... if I will vote I believed it is all worthless.

First I meet Kris personally when they have to shoot tele-series on tv with Jimmy Fabregas at Robinson's Hypermart in Boni Ave.Mandaluyong way back early 1990's.She was not that pretty on my eyes those days unlike now but she greeted us in a nice way.I was newly promoted as an assistant supervisor at that time when she came in at our Bakeshop & Coffee shop section while I'm doing my rounds then she joined us."Good afternoon Mam, you have pretty cashiers here" then she pointed at Rachel Barraca our probationary cashier that later turned to regular cashier employee under my recommendations."Pwede s'ya mag artista kung gusto nya", (she could be a celebrity if she wants) then went out after few minutes to start filming in the parking area between Apartelle and the supermarket building.

ISSUES ABOUT MIGRANT WORKERS KIDS

Image was the happy faces of children's of migrant workers living mostly in Tel Aviv after hearing the plea of President Simon Peres to the Interior Minister Elai Yishai to reconsider the deportation plans.Supposedly it was last Saturday, August 01, 2009 but they are given three (3) months extension of the said re-considerations.
**Tel Aviv is home to almost 90 percent of the country's migrant workers. Migrant families are mostly from the Philippines, South America and Africa, with smaller numbers from Nepal and India. They are mostly work as caregivers for the elderly, as well as in housekeeping and agriculture.**

Where did I kept it so that the family where I am working can not smell it ? in... the... my LATEST VISIT TO WISHING WALL

Wishing upon the star and making a million wish are what then why peoples coming back and fort here in the Western Wall or we called it wishing Wall.You can wish as many as you can. Write your wish to the smallest piece of paper then insert it to the to the smallest ditch spaces in stones on the wall.If you are first timer here and you can see those inserted papers you will say that "how come and how to insert it there , no vacancy at all and it is full already". Insert it very well and be sure the paper will not to fall then walk backward of going way out so that the wish will be grant unto you.Around seven in the morning that we arrived at the eastern main gate, see how many tourist waiting when to open the gate?These are some few policies to follow while inside the place. Please click the image to read, it is written in English and Hebrew.Gender is strictly observed here. You see the divider made of steel? - on right side are the woman's place to pray and wish. On the left side are mostly religious men praying.
Here is what we called the lobby , more than a half size of the praying area to where the tourist guide making his lectures to his visitors about the place.Need to be silent on the praying area and on the side of the wall.Tables are for writing wishes and putting their "tanah" (read as "tanak" - bible) of some religious woman.This is our companion Dorothy wearing the blue blouse gave by guard in the entrance gate to use while in the area . See the religious men praying near the stone wall.Some are sitting but mostly they are standing wearing their costume clothing that they are used for prayer time only.Bibles are for everybody to use but need to return on that book shelves after using. This religious woman cleaning the plastic curtains on the the sidewall and the flooring. I really don't know if she is employed there because just now I saw it for how many times I went this place.Imagine how wide she will wipe and bend every time if she saw black dirt due to shoes and sleepers in that area.? I have image while she is scrubbing and bending her waist but it is too rude or that might mis-understood by some readers.Entrance gate from old city busy shopping place, another line to wait for bag scanning and inspections. Don't be surprise if you are here that everywhere you go there are checked point. They are not getting tired of doing it for the safety of all people.

Caregivers caught abusing their employers

I would like to thanks ROLLY for sending me this news from US caregivers abused her employer.To let you know that here in my location has many issues of caregivers caught on camera abusing their employers. Not only Filipino caregivers but all other worker like what I've seen on tv news report was caregiver from India, Nepal, etc.One pinay caregiver shown abusing her employer but after her police custody she was diagnosed as mentally ill due to her family problem occurred after her arrival in Israel.The children's of their employers had doubt so they installed the secret surveillance camera inside the room where the elderly always staying or some are mostly installed in all corners of the house.

I understand that we are all human beings and patience has an end. But for all normal people or caregivers working with the elderly should look for any options if they are already running out their patience. Going outside or leaving the employers alone inside the house during the arguments is good idea that I'm giving to all caregivers now . But be sure that they are out of danger before leaving alone inside the house.Employers always insisting that they are in the right position which is not all of them are on their clean mind. Due to so many medicines they are taking everyday their attitudes sometimes was so strange.No win win cards for caregivers in this situation, so...if one caregiver had hard time working with the present employer he/she must decide to leave that work and look for another. There is no any reason of staying there in long period of time. And lastly nobody force someone to stay or work if you cannot handle or you cannot manage the assigned job .

Night Swimming Options

Jelly fish invaded the whole shoreline of Israel for few weeks now, the news warned peoples of not going to the sea. An options and advices for better using the swimming pool for the whole summer.I was invited in some night swimming with friends birthdays in Bat Yam , Tel Aviv, Quessaryya and in Netanya but unfortunately none of those schedule has been true. I bought this set of swim suits that make me looks good and I'm so excited for more than four years not getting swim in the sea since I got this job.Yesterday I had a thoughts of another options to where this outfit of mine will be useful. Every morning I was so wet during the shower time of my old woman then I used my swimming suits in the bathroom while cleaning my employer. So...it's not useless in buying this outfit.Any options?? night suits maybe?....hehehehe.

Cooking and Food Time Talks to caregivers!

Since I started to work here we agree that I can cook my food once in a while because they have village kitchen here, they called it "kadar'ha'okel"(not sure of the spelling but words sounds like it) which means "DINNING PLACE".We have food budget there but sometimes we are looking our native foods to eat. No problems to the office who manages the old woman and also to the family around her. But sometimes the elderly itself is the main problems. Some caregivers never never allowed to cook or bring foods even that is their local foods to their work place. For caregivers wanted the work assigned to them, stay there and sacrifice, if not you can go out and look for another job.In my situation is different it is she likes me to cook sometimes and hate sometimes.So..I need to observed first the mood before cooking. lol. I'm expecting that to all elderly because of their life experiences they've always bear in their mind the word "SAVING of EVERYTHING!" and need to do it then followed them.This is one treasure I acquired in working here as caregiver to an elderly."Save___ , save___ and save___ and save___."

Now , lets go to cooking - Last Sunday's tiring trips to Jerusalem , Monday- we're been to the general consultant of my old woman in Billingson hospital, one hour maybe drive up to there and another hour coming back home.Tuesday- a regular tiring day here inside the house and now Wednesday- I'm feeling a little bit homesick. I want to eat something that makes me feels good. I always have here a rice stick noodles, I bought veggies and fruits every Sunday before coming back to work and some ingredients have already in my cabinet. So...here is what I cooked......pancit bihon!!!
Hey wait...Oh yeah! you're right! NO MEAT AT ALL ! I want to escape eating meat for few days maybe. I've just cooked it with chicken flavor mix and soy sauce(toyo-silver swan) with the biggest onions I found in public market.Joining one big head of garlic also and olive oil.No salt and pepper added, veggies are carrots, broccoli flower and cabbage.

Caregivers Watchlist #4-MEDICINES

Contrary to all medicines packages warnings and written as " Medicines stored in a place that cannot be reach by children's and infants" , for caregiver it should be another things to do. Based of my experiences the manufacturer should indicates these phrase I've changed here as "All medicines shall be stored and keep out to avoid reaching by ELDERLY Patients". Those patients night life walking around the corner of the house with their caregiver living in another room sleeping in a sweet, wet dreams. They don't feel their employer doing something like washing the cleaned dishes, fixing all fixed clothing, changing and putting pictures from their old,old photo albums to another albums and sometimes cleaning the floor while on the day time they cannot even buttons their blouses then let the caregiver do it for themselves.Lucky caregivers they have something to do and be their lifetime job .But it is the big wonders how it was be specially to the family members that during their visits the elderly parents showing different acts and stories.

One caregiver told me that one middle of the night she heard that her employer was in the kitchen . She ran out the hurries she could thinking that might fall but she found out Laxatives packages that the elderly holding and she don't know how many tablets the elder took that time.When asked by the caregiver yelling is the answer and who is this caregiver asking to her as employer. Employers(elderly) knows everything as they always said to us and we must followed them not anybody else around . The next day they called the ambulance heading to the hospital. After 3-5 hours taking laxatives you will called by the nature that you need to be in the nearest comfort rooms. Up there elderly putting all her energy to put out all what they felt inside due to overdosing laxatives.Over all stories and each ending " Everything of what's going on was the big blames to CAREGIVERS on that time working with them".Poor caregivers that can't help what to do but just to cry to spill out their feelings.

Sharing you all my short visits to "The Tower of King David" last Sunday. It was another treasure written on my mind and in my heart touching , reading and going around the 2000 years old citadel era of Jerusalem's history. Please visit the Museum for more history written there.

This is the first image of David's city way back **10th century BCE** prior to the building of the Temple of Mount Moriah.The area was called as Keryat Ye'arim and now it is Jerusalem , named after King David conquered and ruled the city.
The perspective and infrastructure view of the whole tower that made of pre-cast steel during the Roman period or the latest generation developed to show how it looks like before the history was made.
This is the signage in front of the tower just beside the busiest old city of Jerusalem going down to the Wishing Wall.
Waited for thirty minutes to open the gate, we arrived earlier that the scheduled time of opening will be ten in the morning. We never knew that their time schedule, we just saw on the board written when we are already there.
I'm outside the tower, see the flags above? and how high the walls?that is the highest point I've ever walked and climb the stairs to have full sight seeing around Jerusalem.Not straightly up there, we sit down few minutes in the audio room then went to room by room where images was displayed.
This is in one room, I need to eat some more butter to add few centimeters to touch that sign above.
This is the image of the Temple Mount courts during the Herrodian period.If you not seen the place maybe your first thought was just around the corner basing all the stories. To tell you frankly in one whole day is not enough knowing what it really means and their origins. Naduduling na ako, nuh!
See how it looks before and now is so different. I'm so confused reading all the history where it begins. If I started reading at the age of seven years old maybe this time I can tell completely what this site is all about.
Here is the inside parts of the tower where all their activities held.Did you see around the high walls and rooms of no windows at all. So dark inside and the pathways are narrow.I can imagine now like the stadium but built before as wall with an open space in mid area.
This is after we got inside the gate hurrying who first sit down the concrete bench, We all looks like happy but so tired of waiting outside with this summer heat that almost burn my eye brows.

At last I am the first one to reach the exit gate. Should go by groups or else you will get lost like one of our companion. She waited in the middle but most of us waited downstairs.It has different locations of mini exits and stairs. When the guards saw us directing the main exit they have to checked the whole area because during the entry they count us and they found one of our companion left in the middle of the tower.We just stayed for two hours or less maybe which I cannot finish reading and checking it for the whole day , I think. So ..tired!

Medical updates of my old woman and ..........

"TAKING PICTURES IN THE HOSPITAL EITHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE ARE PROHIBITED " this is what the guard told from nowhere after I took pictures outside in one entrance of the Billingson hospital in Petatechva.I want to have pictures of any hospital anytime where we go with my employer.I will show it to my daughter studying medical courses and to inspire her to work abroad if she will finish in school.The guard insisted me to erase it on the spot but I explain to him that I will not make any trouble or what ever using these pictures. I'm just working here as caregiver then pointing my employer sitting on a wheelchair behind us talking.My employer said that I love taking pictures to send to my family in the Philippines.Guard didn't answered anymore then left us.A surprising moments while waiting my supervisor to pick us from the parking area and drive us home.

Nice compliments for me when we got inside the doctors room holding all the blood test results as proof of my good performance of taking care to my employer. Eldest son of my employer was his friend that is why it was the family consultant. My old woman respect all instruction giving to her what to do, she believed and follow on him. my unfinished visit to YAD VASHIEM

I messed up the most and important things in the history of Holocaust that each one here needs to know. My friends and co-workers went inside where those images and they viewed the nicest story as they told me when they got back to our service car. I had this pains on my legs after our lunch but I ignored it until I almost not to lift my feet when a few minutes roaming the area.Our youngest lady in the group , KLING_KLING also felt not good then invited the three of us to back to the parking area and stayed there until our companions finished their route.(SAYANG talaga! namitig paa ko.)My left leg down to foot had a cramps and sprain, it was so painful that I"ve almost cry but there is no regrets at all for joining the tour.

Around 12 noon when we arrived the area and we are all hungry that most of us just took a cup of coffee leaving early as five in the morning in our respective employer and some are from their rented flats. Five thirty when our service car moved heading Jerusalem then we arrived the proper area of about seven in the morning .
On the left side of this huge concrete post we took our lunch as fast as we could because we need to go back to city of Natanya before four in the afternoon to fix some of our needs to bring in our work place for the whole week .From here there is another area to go but sad to say that all of us was so tired and agree to go back to Natanya. This hot summer heat teach us not to have schedule again some kind of tour like this.
This is inside the Yad Vashiem area.If you notice the circular steel with full of stone pieces in front of me there. All was left by Jewish people visiting the area for the signs of their visits. That is their tradition that even in all cemetery everywhere they are putting stone pieces above the graves of their lost relatives.
See how many peoples around visiting there? so crowded to look around those numbers of tourist from all over the world.
This is outside children's memorial building that I decided not to go inside , it was so dark place then I try to look at the main door I felt dizzy . A very sweaty day going around and no enough air blowing that time when we are there.

Way to the video room to view their history how it was written.I did not got in also , I'm looking the water fountain that I need to wash my face to relieves of what feeling with. Or maybe I had a bunch of lunch as you can see my tummy was full . I ate "pinakbet" , special menu of all veggies exclusive for filipinos only. And spicy " bagoong alamang "(preserved salted baby shrimps).... ahhhhh.....what a great fun and food festival for us because we cannot cook and eat all of these to our work place especially to those worker for religious families.

Most of us felt like no more energy and power to walk through the hills, I felt I have dry mouth down to whole parts of my body. We just brought small mineral water when we enter that we don't have any idea how far we gonna walk.I look around from the highest peak of the area that I felt I crossed two high mountains. I don't know or maybe we are just staying all the time inside the house looking after our employers need.

PREPARING on SUNDAY TOUR

Almost two months that I've never joined any trips and tours due to so many reasons.First financially then my workload. Trips scheduled was during Saturday nights for night swimming that I cannot go out regularly.
NOW.... I'M READY TO GO!!

Looked!!!what I have prepared as of today.I cleaned my TOE NAILS (la,la,la,sing) with nice polish courtesy of DHEMZ , how nice ,right? My new footwear that I asked favor to the youngest son of my employer if in case they passed by the factory of TEVA from work , an American signature of footwear here,to please buy me one pair.That's what I always wanted to wear the men's outfit, lol.

Hey..looked up the foods - preserved papaya before I forgot everything to bring. If I feel dizzy along the way just let me smell the sweet and sour then I will be feeling alive.hehehe.Pumpkin seeds,mixed nuts, banana chips, fruits must be taste sour.I'm afraid to eat lunch if it is not on the way home, I might throw it all and dispose in the middle of somewhere.(sigh)

Ooopppss....I almost forget ! I'm so excited! Our destination: YAD VASHIEM- if you seen in the news world wide that most dignitaries are visiting this place . Now this is my first time to be there, yeheyy...next will be the old city of Jerusalem, I've been there for how many times but still loved to go back .Might be , if time still allow us in Jerusalem Museum and wishing wall again.We are all friends working as caregivers for elderly here.

As I crawl in some bloggers thru ADGITIZE ads I read one blog that entrecard was in new ownership as of this time. That certain blog copies few stanza's in EC blog.I came out to read some of ADAM's new blog all the reason of all his reasons and out. But still I OWE him and all the staffs there a lot that I meet and know some bloggers and their respective blogs. THANKS and BEST of LUCK !

Okey, now I know that for how many months all of those problems in EC log in , etc., the daily tickets I send was replied by computers on duty there. It was a big weights to ADAM's head then he finally sold it out and open a new blog in blogspot.com.

So...guys I'm still waiting to the new owner of entrecard to fix my problem and I'm hoping they will , so that I can pay you back by dropping credits.

Hello bloggers.....Did you checked your URL once in a while? or either your domain in google search?Did you noticed sometime that your URL are some blogs or site that you don't know what it is? Here I found another crazy creatures but I don't know who are they doing this.I never opened their sites or any of those pornographic videos anywhere on the web. I'm not interested of viewing those nasty things.I'm sure this is one reason why I lost my PR2 .This is a very disgusting kind of acts on the web.I'm still searching why I lost the PR2 that my blog contents will benefits both elderly peoples and the workers and/or caregivers . I don't have any domain yet and how come I have that sub-domain . I have a problem on opening a bank account here in my location that is why I can not use my money stored on Paypal. They are not allowed and they don't understand how I will used it to PAYPAL account on the web.

Each time I went vacation I never forgot to got inside in any Goldilocks outlets before coming back abroad for work.I am so proud bringing "pasalubong" (present) to my employer of some Goldilocks products and let them taste.They like it too, seems good flavors they said.Believed me or not, I brought more than 10 kilos hand carry of polvoron , all pie's flavor, pastillas ,etc here and sold it double the prices to my co-workers. Sorry Goldilocks but it is caregivers business each time I went back to work here.Polvoron and pastillas are easily to find in some Asian food store here but it takes just one day-off to finished all stocks if all pinoy's heard that they have Goldilocks products on display.

RICE PRICES ABROAD

If you are working abroad you can always remembered the smallest thing back home.This morning I went to the village store here in my work place.I want to have lunch with white plain rice. I'm just consuming one kilo of rice for the whole month. Imagine if I'm home one kilo is not enough for a single meal.Funny to tell but it was true. This country was not planting rice and even citizen's here don't know how it looks like before they are buying it in the store.They knew it is rice ready to cook but if you asked them where, what the colors or kinds, classifications, etc. they just turning their heads left to right which means they don't know.Just lately when airing reality tv shows and some issues on Internet they saw others facts about rice.
Look at the image how much one kilo of rice I bought, it is worth more than a hundred pesos (P100 ) in the Philippines .There are still higher prices than these quality but it was in the same taste . For me this is not the first class quality of rice. I grown up surrounded by rice that is why I know if something smell on the rice . I know if it was wet or dry during the harvest season until packaging for market exchanges to cash as one source of living. Most processed foods and this rice here are from Thailand, why from there? mostly citizen's here love to spend vacations in that country.Because of higher rice prices, I used to eat more fruits and veggies and it is more cheaper than rice compared to other prime commodities that I need.Wonders bothered me most , I'm still gaining weights even eating less rice.SAD!.

LETAYEL to Mcdo

One of the regular routine of caregiver is to go "letayel", going outside to unwind together with their respective employers.Some are like schooling going to their regular schedule in "moadon", it is an elderly club or organizations.Others are meet in the park nearby and some are in the fast food chain around.

Yesterday before sunset my friend Jhing_cutie called me to go in nearby McDonald together with our employer but my employer don't want to go out.So we stayed home the whole day. At around 7 pm that almost dark as they came back, she in hand me this McDonald hamburger and french fries.So..this is my dinner for late night then. One thing good in our work as caregiver was we talk and see friends during our working days if our employers can still go out for letayel.

Sweating is normal for people who are working or doing some sporty activities. Health studies indicates that normal sweating is a sign of good health. For elderly, summer sweating is bad for all corners of the body like armpit, under boobs, waistline , on the ass or butt , on their crotch (singit) and even in between toe fingers.If all these body corners remains wet by perspiration's of the whole day wearing "titulim"(elderly sanitary wears) it becomes rashes in the next day. First to check is the reddish skin, if that certain parts of skin will not clean immediately it will be itchy and elders have the habit of scratching most of the time.Usually it becomes worse after scratching then on the next few days it will become bedsores. How difficult to cure patients with bedsores? I'm having bad appetite after attending patients with bedsores. It takes me days of no meals or not eating, I just want everything to have are veggies and fruits. Do you know that sometimes bedsores causes death when it is already on bad situation especially to bed ridden patients? This is always happening when the bedsores are having some infections.

I had this experienced in Tel Aviv when I went vacation in the Philippines for 45 days . Before I left she was physically fit excluding to the point that she is already an Alzheimer patient.While I'm having good time on my vacation,the work I left was in reversed situation. The old woman was looking for me day and night , she don't want to eat if I will not come back.No one called me until I went back . To my surprise when I saw the face of the eldest son of my patient, he pick me up from the airport, a sign of loneliness. I thought it was gone and finished.He told me what happened the day I left and for how many times they go back and fort to the hospital for just 45 days that I'm out for vacation.So...from the airport heading directly to my work the first thing I felt and smell when I opened the door was like a rotten rat. Sorry but it was true.That is the smell of having bedsores with infections and surely no one escapes for that conditions. How many holes of bedsores from head up to heals and the whole left foot.The bones are already decomposed little by little and all around it. I did my best until three months that I gave up and ended calling her children to have decisions transferring their mother to a recovery institutions . But it was too late to be there and she passed away after one week of lying in there.

Since then I'm using the petroleum jelly . To avoid bedsores need an early treatment by applying an amount of Vaseline petroleum jelly (cream) on the first stages of rashes or reddish areas after washing and drying it well. Not prescribed by any skin specialists but we caregivers proved it already.Available in all leading stores worlwide.

Being caregiver working to an elderly I am interested reading news that is related to patients where I am working with. In tel Aviv I worked with Alzheimer's patients and also to dementia Alzheimer.As I've said in my previous posts that the general thoughts if you know or heard the word Alzheimer it is means a hard work to a strong kind of patients. In my experienced it is different kinds of patients which also have different kinds of attitudes that has only similarities during the night time.They are sleeping less hours even taking sleeping pills.One caregiver told me before that don't let them drink coffee or any liquid that has caffeine after lunch so that they will sleep well during the nights.Sometimes it works but most of the time not.

Now I found the news that the latest study based on an experiment to a mice is that..coffee may reverse "Alzheimer's" In another research coffee may cut the risk of having dementia by blocking the damage cholesterol . Today is the 96th birthday of my old woman where I am working . We had a great times together for almost four years . A loving grandmother , a strong mother , and funny story teller when it comes to her lovelife way back in early years of her life. Born in WARSAW, POLAND on month of July 1913(no exact date) as she told me always but she did not witness or seen any of the Holocaust actions. She was already in Israel of about four years when Hitler's regime prosecuted most of jewish in European countries. So..she never seen her parents and younger brothers and some sisters since she left thier home in WARSAW. Savta Ester(savta = grandmother) as the people called it here was the eldest in family. I had meet one of her sister alive now living in Sweden with her children and grandchildren too.

I wish her good health and more birthdays to come . If I will be the creator I want to grant her life longer than the others . I want her to be a record breaker for the oldest humans living on this universe. I'll be proud to all my family especially my soon to be grandchildren that I am her caregiver . Abnormalities if I say we did not have any arguments but its always happening, we are both humans. Living to an inteligent woman is not the easy easy work but I'm happy to be with her .Widest explanations that she needs to hear always and I'm giving the unmeasured patience which I never did in my entire life . Learning some challenges in life of where she had been is a great inspirations to me.

This is the herbal plant that I'm usually drinking even when I was at young age if I have stomach disorders like gas spasm or over eating,etc.Guides on how to use this herbal plant.

After that Saturday and Sunday food festival I had intake, here comes the problem on my stomach as the doctors diagnosis as flatulence and you know what is the next.I was just lucky that in my work place there is herbal medicines that I know how to use it. But here it is just an ordinary grasses for them. Some knew it but they prepared bottled or manufactured medicines as what we all know how does it tastes and how hard to prepare herbal medicines aside from their scents or odors.I'm avoiding taking manufacutred pills so I'm always looking for herbal medicines around.I always seen these in my country in all herbal store that are already dried and for sale. They have a lot around here, they put it sometimes in some fish menu in the dinning and my employer like that fish menu with these leaves.There is one chef on tv shows using these leaves to all his menu either meat or in veggies. I enjoyed these as my daily hot tea for the whole week until my stomach will be normal.

MOMMY's PLACE RESTO-BAR in TEL AVIV

Saturday day off was scheduled for looking seafoods that are not eaten the whole week.Some caregivers can cook thier foods in thier employer's house but without seafoods or fish.Pork, seafoods are not the jewish foods and fish is cooked differently of what we wants.So every day off most caregivers cooks thier native foods on thier flat/apartments then eat the whole night long and drinks.Most birthdays are celebrated during Saturday nights or Sunday's.

My friend Jhing celebrated her birthday in so many ways.After attending the mass we went dinner to Mommy's Resto bar located at Bnei Brak cor Neveshanan in Tel Aviv, where the place of crowded foriegn workers hang out.We ordered foods that mixed all with seafoods. See that pictures over there? - rice with seafoods, noodles with seafoods and drinks but not seafoods , hahaha. They are serving Thai, Chinese, Japanese and filipino foods.We did wait the musical band to play that consist of some filipinos singing and dancing because we still have another birthday party to attend.

I put two flags here, if I have more I want to fill up the whole page to show to the whole blogland that I am a proud filipino caregiver working in Israel.I witnessed many years of thier independence here in my location and how they celebrated it, first by loud sirens hearing the whole nation, by displaying thier flags in all sides of thier properties, everywhere flags are flying , in all thier house front sides, to thier cars and even in groceries and kitchens - plates and paper cups are designed like of thier flag colors.

Wheewww....Early morning I woke up to check my emails, approval adverts on EC and messages on tagboards that DEMZ of My Life Perception and Inspiration left message that she cannot write comments due some pop ups and if click on EC drops it opened another site or advertisements. I encountered this last two weeks while dropping EC's to some blogs and left also messages to them on tagboard.

Last night before I went to bed I noticed the changes of on dashboard's alphabeth but I just ignored then dive to my bed and maybe snored the whole night .

This morning before I took out my morning star that everyday I did it, first I check my blogs comments, EC droppers, approval adverts if there is , I noticed again in blogger dashboard the same thing last night. As I thought that maybe I'm still dreaming then I continued my rounds to my blogs , the SURVIVOR was doubled layout and everything was extra,extra,extra large size of images , letters as in all what was there. I proceed to the OTHERSIDE but not desame , so I went to the bathroom and wash my face clean everything then go back my room to check again . Survivor was getting worse and I went to YANORZAH to read again the message of DEMZ then I send IM. She check it but its all okey but I refresh again in all my blogs was all ATTACKED by virus . On my mind I hope and maybe there somebody will have time to comments that this is VIRUS, so I click back the dashboard that I found out the comments left by Internations Musing - a group of bloggers which located in different countries with different religions and beliefs but with one aim to contributes thier daily activities to the whole world here is his comments left in my latest post "cold tomatoe juice"

So.. immediately I checked all my blogs and I was SHOCKED- THE FOUR BLOGS WAS ALMOST BIGGER THAN ON MY SCREEN. Me and DEMZ exchanging IM's then did some search and I remember my latest activity was just added my three blogs the RANK WIDGETS , as DEMZ said to me to erase it all that widgets. It took few minutes that it went back to normal but after lunch I checked again it became extra small , lol. After I finished my daily routine I checked again and everything was in normal ...wheewww...Chilling ,giggling that I took my breakfast and lunch at desame time.

Again to DEMZ and to the group of INTERNATIONS MUSING --THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL OF YOU . I dont know what to do if no one of you noticed it and wrote messages. ( re: image from photobuckett)

My employer don't like tomatoe juice, I just chop it into small cubes after putting deep to a boiled water to take out the first layer of tomatoe skin. She is the one mixing an amount of salt she desired to put.Almost every dinner I'm serving this to her with other foods that she wish to eat. Fruits are also taken after meals and she is not drinking enough water as per doctor's advice. So in any forms of liquid I'm trying to convinced her to drink.

One among a lots of duties and responsilities of caregiver that stated on written contract was to accompany thier employer where ever they wanted to go.Inside and outside the house activities is a must and need to follow willingly.

Last Saturday after lunch time we went to the dance studio located inside this village to watched NAAMA. She is the grand daughter of my employer living just few meters from us with her parents and three brothers. She is also playing some musical instruments that she started at very young age.Sitting between yellow and violet as you can see on the image with her white swimming cap. She changed her costume for three times in the whole show as she participated in three different dance category.

Savta, as we usaually called to our employers, was very happy to watching her grand daughter and all performers on their dressed rehearsals.I was so happy too looking at her face smiling and sometimes she was asked from and whom childrens are those partipants performing.Savta usually watched on some tv channels a musical concerts and those classical dance shows.While watching tv shows sometimes she's joing singing in tune of whatever on the shows, clapping hands sometimes too.All programs related to musical dancing shows was she like most. We finished watching the shows without hearing her common complains of tiredness and pains.

I have an advantage compared to other workers that thier employers are not going to any activities outside for some valid reasons. I mean I'm on my work of duty with a complete salary at same time a pleasure like this for free of charge,lol.

Looking for this plant growing and drying around in my location makes me wonders of so many useful health facts if this herbal plant will be in my country.

Amaranthus Spinusos as the given scientific name , uray or kulitis in the Philippines has a lot of health benifits like IODINE, it has high Calories counts if we cook it like vegetables,has an ingredients found in LAXATIVE that used to avoid constipation. I always explaining this to my employer of how important this plant in my place during our time walking around as her daily exercise. She never believed me , all medicine she knows was all in the packages or in the bottles. It is also rich in calcuim, vitamins A, B4 and C. Young leaves if cooked and consumed helps as the easy way out of urine or it has called DIURETIC ingredients.Roots if boiled and drink its water is good to those who suffer bronchitis. But sad to say that in western country or to rich country they just treated as an ordinary grasses around.

Way back when I was young girl and living in the jungle with my grandparents we always cooked this together with the fish.Now I have nieghbor in the Philippines has a lady doctor daughter living and practice her doctoracy in the US is always looking for this plant. She even planting it in her backyard, I can't imagine how this former municipal judge in our place still wanted to eat this kind of herbal plants. Everytime I saw this kulitis here I automatically remember her face, drawn and came out on my mind. She is now going to the age of ninety (90) if I'm not mistaken.

CAREGIVERS WATCH LIST # 2 WET FLOOR

"Slipperry when wet" the sign boards that we can see if we are traveling along the roads and highways.Huge buildings and malls sometime you enter have a signages of "WET FLOOR" or "stay away this area" during that time of cleaning schedule.And caregiver's second major role was to clean the place/house where they are working or staying like us here in Israel.In some other workers cleaning is thier main job not caregiving, while on me this is just a part or not compulsary but still I need to clean most of the time to avoid mis-conceptions around here.

Must avoid to fall of our elderly is the one main word to put in my mine everyminute of the day. Cleaning is the hardest time for me especially when the elderly is busy looking for something then walking back and fort to where the wet area I am working with.Sometime reminding is worth nothing as she insisted of what she's looking for to do. So..usually I clean the floor if she's out or in the club house of elderly. Sometimes I did if she is sleeping by closing her room door so that I clean other parts of the house

Most important part or corner of the house to watch if it is wet or dry are:

01. the rest rooms- most of the time they are coming in and out even they are not urinating or disposing there. Mirror is the one reason why they are getting inside then watching always or fixing their hairstyle or some retouch powder on thier face and even the blouse collar they always fixing it.

02. floor area around frigidaire- if the elderly still walking alone, they just go direct to get food or what ever they remember inside the the fridge.

03. chairs -around where they are always sitting most of the time, sometime it is already wet but they cant feel it or cannot be control to have pee on it.

04. passage or alley - to where they always walking in between rooms and rest rooms or way going to the kitchen and recieving room

05. There is one un-avoidable cases that usually the caregivers is the who slipped down. If the patient or an elderly living in one caregiver privately this was always happened. Patient that can move thier hands ups and down, sideward and backward they used to take off thier pampers in the middle of the night while this private caregiver was asleep. So when the pee is coming that always they could not control due to thier ages , before they reach the rest rooms in just 2-3 meters distance all pees has gone and all down to the floor. How many times I was the one who slipped down , I always run to her room each time I heard that she's moving. I put plastic and garterized cover before putting the bed sheets so I heard the sounds of plastic cellophane . Thanks and good that I never brake my bones yet and not to be , huh! but followed by pains on my fat ass the next day, lol.

I totally forgot! due to busy days last week that somebody gave these papaya fruit. Just now I wondering the black ants crawling on the floor , so I took everything under my bed. My gushhhhhh.. its here and it almost ripen.I want to eat this with vinegar and a pinch of salt today after lunch. Supposedly I want to make it sweet and sour preserved for my appitizer(atsara).

We all know that ants can easily detect sweet smell in few distance of where they are.Never I smelled it for the whole week. Thanks for the insects detector I have here and black ants never bites.Others ants are harmful like the red, brown and how about white ants? ahhh... its different already.

Health facts from papaya extracts like cleansing ingredients for the face or they made it into any skin care products, vitamins, and anti cancer food as per expert studies. But here in my work place this veggie fruit is knew for them. I mean unlike in my country that I woke sorround by papaya's.It is just late they discover that it has a lot of useful health benifits from this fruit.Aside from that one businessman named his clothing signature for teens and young childrens as PAPAYA with the most high prices in town.The one thing I dont know is if the textile they used have papaya extracts, hihihihi ,just come out to my imagination now.I'm still looking the taste that I'm not satisfied but still eating if there is around.

HAG SHAVOOT 2009

Different kids of cheese in one biggest plate that every one can get and eat how much they could.Today was a tradition of jewish people celebrating thier FIRST harvest of wheat and other crops that they plant.Main menu was CHEESE and related products as diary by this time. It was also said that end of spring was the FIRST MILK they produce because usually this is the time that sheeps and cows,etc are giving birth, so there is milk to drink and need to celebrates.In the history this is the day of cheese,cottage and milk but easily to find now in all supermarkets.Meat are not serving but then open to those who likes to eat.

We did not attend for the first time of today's holiday dinner.It is usaual that we are attending all programs of this village. My employer was suffering from gas spasm since yerterday . It stopped last night but the pains attack again after lunch time today.So..I went to the dinner table when all foods was served and took some.In later days I will post topic about gas spasm, if I will choose which much better to take care of an elderly, I will choose the one that always making fart than the one having gas spasm. I can stay away or sit far behind when farting but in gas spasm I don't know what to do to her . Then giving her how many glasses of regular tea, it stops.My goodness! I thought we're going to sleep again in the nearby hospital but lucky not. Hate that place, I mean I'm more feeling tired even I'm just sitting beside her.

BAD LUCK for ONE CAREGIVER

HIT's or free ride in some private cars as they called it here as TREEMP or sounds like that are dangerous.Some caregivers in far locations are doing it if the family they are serving will not drive them to the nearest place going to the city. But there are some employers that has concerned to thier workers and they are spending thier time to drive her/him going to thier respective apartments or flat as what we called it here.Saturday afternoon are the usual schedule of 24 hours day off of caregivers here.This is the day that there's no public transportation, taxi are on high rate fees during this 24 hours shabat and still on danger if you are riding alone.Risks is in yours if you are not lucky to have employer of just giving you a warning instead of driving you to the nearest place to take a safe ride .There is SHERUT here like a service van for public, a 10 passengers vehicle that most workers in far locations are hiring .They are meeting in place then the sherut will pick up them .If this sherut has still vacant seat they got another worker/passenger along the way.

It is in the news already and somebody heard/saw on tv program that the rape victim was a "filipina", they shown the bruises on tv but I didn't got it .I'm trying to search but I can't find it.Thats not the big ball here to be on the headlines we are just caregivers. Even the co-workers around in that area which is also my friend don't want to elaborate the story for her safety , as of now they said that the authorities is looking for two men responsible for that inhumane acts.

Yesterday I recieved IM's saying that co-workers was just 20 minutes drive from my workplace and said the victim was dropped near in my location which is opposite way going to the city proper. I usually went for a few minutes walk to where they found the victim.Last Sunday I did one complete route in one bus in that nearby location of the victim but I ride on the bus and it was full of passsengers , so ..there no dangers on it.

Note: Snakes are everywhere.CAREFUL!

SMILEY FRUITS for SUMMER

HELLO GUYS.....
I'm back again... I brought all these cool summer fruits for your good health.
Yesterday's day off was not so good but not too bad also.I ride a bus going to a place that I don't know where, I want to explore alone.I have these very confidential problems and too personal that I was affected for the whole week.So..I went alone anywhere,when the bus inspector asked me I pretend to step out to the next bus stop which is I dont know.When the next bus came I ride again back to the city.Not dangerous here in riding even in far places that mostly you can meet inside the bus at anywhere some caregivers to thier way back to work or vice versa.I enjoyed my trip like a fun sight seeing rides.After that I went to a public market to buy fruits and I stop by for a drinks in this fruit stand cool store.I choose fruit and they make it as a fruit shakes.So...my whole day trip was end with smiley like this fruits they made. Last one thing, did you see the pineapple in the picture? that is the biggest size I've ever seen here .I asked the vendor but they never knew if there is bigger than that.It's not enough for me to buy 3 or 5 while the prices are higher than me.Wezzzzz... I can't wait to have vacation to eat a lot of it.

WORRIED BUT SAFE

Wednesday and Thursday I woke with a clear sunny skies but hearing up there makes me worries day and night. As if the almighty GOD rolling all mountain rocks almost every 5 minutes until night time.The sounds goes popping up to my mind and my heart thinking that it might or will sparks again to every borders to become war. I always run outside and looked up around but still can heard it and nothing to see. It was the aircraft flying the whole country maybe to monitor its territory into safety. Owwwss ..I finally seen on tv at news on the end of the day.I'm worrying that my family much worried on me but as of now it returned to silent atmosphere here so as feeling safe and free.

PPP & IZEA - DISCRIMINATES ME!

YES!...YES!... I'm saying that and I felt that way.Early morning I recieved thier reply to my request two days ago for approval , so it was REJECTED again. Said that english grammar- Where in this holy earth have perfect english? please tell me,spelling-yes I always forgot to click the spell checker so that was all how I spell the words on my posts and what is sentence sructure - do I need to apply the structural design that I've learned when I was in the universities!?

here is the first 3 statement I recieved from thier email that I need to change:
Good sentence structure, spelling and grammar.
A clean, fresh layout.
A blog that sticks to a central purpose, topic or theme.

About layout- I'm totally happy with the outcome of my layout comparing to the one before.Why? just because this is FREE that I did not pay any single centavo to the one who help me and did this.This is my reality I'm talking if I want to say something.

About the "stick to a central purpose,topic and theme" ahhhhh...that's why google adsense still cope up the ads they putting in and I'm still have some searchers from anywhere in this globe.I'm writing to the best of my ability and to share to the whole world my work experiences that benifits both employers and caregivers/workers.

#01.Elderly habbit of SCRATCHING..........****On the picture was the blood under the skin of an elderly after they scratched that certain parts of the body- this is in the arm.Blood passes through small viens but it stops if it scratch-usually at night when they are sleeping. There are some cases that the caregiver holding them tightly in protecting to fall and when the patient was in the position of out balancing thier body wieght-if you hold it tightly like in the wrist, you can expect after few minutes your hands drawn by blood in that parts where you hold it. Somtimes even you just slowly bump any portion on thier body without any means or by accident it forms this blood clog.That was just few minutes after she scratched , it will be wider slowly until becoming black then turn again to red and more than a week it will fade out or it depends on how much the energy of scratching or bumping into it.I'm putting this "arnika cream" but not as fast as one day to clean it out. There are some cream that they buy over the counter in any drug stores.

Alzhiemer's patients usually scratching thier ears and nose holes that caused to infections.It also influences us , sometimes we just noticed we then scratches too without feeling of itchyness like in our head and in the nose. I saw last few years one caregiver putting surgical gloves on the hands of her employer to avoid scratching.Alzhiemers patients sometimes recognised medical stuffs so they afraid on it. So....living in one roof with elderly is like watching all her movements everyday and we understand what they want in every moves or gesture they showed to us.

Food chain Mcdonalds has its own version and advertisements of this menu.Lunch and dinner for Israeli's are not complete if there's no presence of salads aside from lettuce as they called it "HASA\(read as kasa)".These are my own choices of ingredients, all are the smallest sizes and just one piece each ------- red pepper bell, green cocumber, yellow green apple, tomatoe, assorted nuts, raisens(dried grapes) ,carrots, salt as desired, little drops of lemon and two(2) tablespoon of olive oil. Slice into desired sizes and mixing all ingredients. If we're not going out, this is my usual dinner plus drinking green tea after 20 minutes.

DEPRESSION : my own OBSERVATION

This is my daily observations that has different bases due to thier age status and its standard or level in society.It cannot be said in one day or how and when exactly thier attitudes be seen.Sometimes you can obsreved it's changes once in a month if not seriously affected.There are times that daily or instant changing of attitudes makes a hardwork adjustments then make surprises also to caregivers. Most medical experts has no treatment and they just ignored the patients coming in thier clinics.Medical studies explains that depression is considered the most common mental disorder, afflicts up to 5% of people aged 65 and older. Many researchers think this is a low estimate, because depression can mimic dementia. Some experts thus estimate that as many as ten percent of those diagnosed with dementia actually suffer from depression and if treated it is reversible.

One example is quite common in older persons due in part to the inevitable losses which occur with aging. Also, changes in brain chemistry can cause profound depression in older adults. Several physical problems, including transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), strokes, Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias often cause paranoid thoughts, delusions, hallucinations and aggressive actions.

Feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, helplessness, inappropriate guilt; prolonged sadness or unexplained crying spells; jumpiness or irritability; loss of interest in and withdrawal from formerly enjoyable activities, family, friends, work or sex are the main factors of depression cases.

Another intellectual problems such as unexplainable loss of memory or the ability to concentrate; confusion and disorientation.

Physical problems such as loss of appetite or a noticeable increase in appetite; persistent fatigue and lethargy; insomnia or a noticeable increase in the amount of sleep needed; aches and pains, constipation, or other physical constipation, or other physical ailments that cannot be otherwise explained are commonly seen to all depressed people.

Most elderly people take many more prescription and over-the-counter medications than other age groups. Because metabolism is slower in the elderly, these substances can stay in the body longer and reach toxic levels more quickly.

Here are more several factors that play the role in onset depression.

Thru Biochemistry expirements - deficiencies in two chemicals in the brain, serotonin and norepinephrine, are thought to be responsible for certain symptoms of depression, including anxiety, irritability, and fatigue.

But in genetics depression can run in families. For example, if one identical twin has depression, the other twin has a 70% chance of also having the illness sometime in life.

Peoples with low self-esteem, who are easily overwhelmed by stress, or who are generally pessimistic appear to be vulnerable to depression.

Sometimes there are invironmental factors like continuous exposure to violence, neglect, abuse, or poverty may make people who are already susceptible to depression all the more vulnerable to the illness.

If you observed or feel any of these symptoms of depression for more than two weeks, you should seek help and consult your doctor.

MOTHER'S DAY ' 09

This picture was taken last February 2009 on or after election day (Feb. 10,2009) and came out in all newspapers and tv news updates in ISRAEL.It was my employer and her eldest son EHUD BARAK , I was sitting on rightside of my employer- I'm always hiding if there is camera-hihihi... we meet in one place of MISHMAR HASHARON because EHUD was need to lead the tree planting. I cannot find my copy on my file of this picture, so ask again to the youngest son RUVI.

I am sharing this image to all of you outhere to show that how busy his son was , he still have time to visit her mother.Yesterday the three other son's and thier wives came to visit thier mother.One special friend also came to visit her. Two daughters of EHUD with thier children's that was already a great grand children of my employer also came. She's very happy and she told me again the old , old stories of all history that we went to bed late last night.

REMEMBER the saying that we can have changes to the whole parts of our body but not the fact of having one mother in your entire life.

LAG BAOMER 2009.(bonfire)

Lag Baomer is like making bonfire anywhere but on a safe place. On my understanding it is a holiday of FIRE and especial day for children's .Those who are in the city they are going out of town or near the sea to celebrate this night.They put potatoes on fire then they ate-last year I saw them eating and they all happy escpecially the young kids are all excited with this holiday.They're doing this only once in a year.Last few days I saw children gathering firewood and debris so... it is on my mind that this day is coming again.

Lag Baomer in 2009 is on Tuesday, the 12th of May.

Yes!..it's my ****ty eight birthday last april 24, I recieved a gifts- one from DEMZ blogger down there and fly straight from Sacramento,CA.Below has an image of what she sent - she don't like to post it here so..I decided to put it out in later days..hahahaha.

Jhing_cutie here our friend cook our food again. We decided to do it now because that past weeks we are busy with our work,then a lot of holidays here that our employers also needs to partipate or attend to each celebration because they are a part of the history.And May 01 is our holiday also that we separated our trips-she went to Rosh ha'Nikrah a border of Israel and Libanon.

Here are a part she cooked aside from chicken macaroni salad and other sweets.Swerti mapapangasawa nito-sarap magluto eh.(lucky man whom she get bows ,she's very good chef)

Prepare first all ingredients like carrots,red pepper bell, green pepper bell,cabbage -cut into desired slices of any menu like pansit as the occasion will not go on without it, there is pineapple chunks/tidbits,potatoes -sliced into medium cubes, chicken breast sliced to small cubes, boil soft chicken meat,onions,garlic,black pepper,seassoning-like soy sauce,chicken curry and salt.
This is chicken cubes with pineapple,green pepper bell,crrots sliced round slant,put a pinch of sugar so cannot smell the meat or pepper- something like kids cuold love it too .
Here is the beef cubes meat,potatoes, chicken curry,red pepper bell-sliced in in string style, carrots cuts into bigger cubes, adds seassonings(halatang di me nagluluto-hihihihi)You can put also green peas if you like.
And last but not the least "ang pansit" bow.Filipino occasions will not complete without these, agree or disagree?-mga pinoy dyan.Just a rice sticks noodles ,meat and all vegetables you like to includes, sauce and mixed everything ...that's all!

This is DEMZ gifts to me...sssssshhhhhh...wak kayo maingay.I'm so proud of hers and thankful to be a mother friend of hers. Hug & kisses to baby and you except to daddy...hmmmmm.bawal I'm still older than him...,hahahaha,hellowwwwwwww.

SEA OF GALILEE ADVENTURE

Galilee is the place where Jesus cured a blind man. Around sea of Galilee or it is called by here as Kenneret that looks a lake for me has many religious shrines and historical sites of interest in this city. This region was the home of Jesus during at least 30 years of his life. The first three Gospels of the New Testament are mainly an account of Jesus' public ministry in this province, particularly in the towns of Nazareth and Capernaum.Here, Jesus walked on the water (John 6:19-21), calmed a storm (Matt. 8:23-26), and showed the disciples miraculous catches of fish (Luke 5:1-8; John 21:1-6).
I'm totally crazy when I step on the boat ,I dont know why.We dance,shout,sing and picture taking the whole 45 minutes in this boat.Sorry but this is me and my reality where ever I go.I want to be thankful and be happy for places I'm visited.

I'm just trying to be.....but not nice ...okey lng at least I feel it.hihihihi
I'm holding the boat post to where all flags of all tourist from different countries having rides.Singing the national anthem and flag rising was very emotionaly felt of every one here.After that crazy dancing goes on.

Heading home after boat ride.You can see behind the new version of boat used by now of all tourists.
Building behind me is where you can find the ancient boat that Jesus used his time with the fisherman.The boat is made of 12 different types of wood and measures 25.5 ft. (8.2 m) long, 7.5 ft. (2.3 m) wide, and 4.1 ft (1.25 m) high. It would have had a crew of five (four rowers and a helmsman) and could carry about 15 additional persons. This seems like a lot for such a humble boat, but men were smaller 2,000 years ago — about 5'5" and 140 pounds.

PLACE WHERE JESUS WAS BAPTISED

One way of surviving our homesickness was to join the tours and go any places every holidays given by us with our employers.A joyful day exit from work was a memorable momments and un-explainable feelings we got together from different points of this country working as caregivers.
It was written along this Jordan river where Jesus was baptised and since then peoples all over the world are dreaming to come to this place.

I waited for almost one hour to take pictures of wellknown cat fish but only the very shy crab came out behind me.
there are 28 languages written on the wall and here is my very owned tagalog version.Number 17 if you start counting from the gate or main entrance.It is 1 meter above where I am standing and I climbed up (umakyat ako eh).
These are all caregivers and members of JESUS IS LORD christian group day of baptism.Some are working in Jerusalem,in Haifa,Natanya and in Tel aviv.Every places above have thier churches to attend with every Saturday night worships.Gowns and towels to use during and after was worth 10$ rent,it is compulsary to wear white gowns during baptism here.

Entrance door and shopping area if you like to have souviners.
We just have one stop over along the way to have coffee and went to comfort rooms.Around the area was a wheat plantation and it's harvest season.
Caregivers enjoying photo shooting even the driver is already calling but they don't mind him.

Independence day ends with....

*****the DEFENSE MINISTER SPEECH held at ministry building ground in Tel Aviv.High and Strict compliance in entering the vicinity with all and most well known people and war hero's are the visitors that allowed to get inside. I meet also other pilipina caregiver with her employer, we just wave hands in far distance and another one was with her husband that I saw was a local press photographer.Me and my employer was sitting the 3dr lines of chairs behind all ranking officials of this country. I enjoyed too but I was pretty tired pushing,pulling and driving the wheelchair around because my employer want to see everything and she's telling me everything also until we got home.I just want to let everyone here that this is the reality of my life here as caregiver.What ever our employers need no choice we'll do it for thier satisfaction.
Taken inside MoD office ,framed pictures behind are all the previous DM's of this country.Those sitting down are all the daughters in law of my employer.
Anchor woman/newscaster of local tv channel one greeted my employer...later I will put the name...hehehe I just recognised the face who she is but not her name.

61rst INDEPENDENCE of HOLY LAND

Israel's night of indepedence way back 1948 celebrates few minutes ago-disco dancing still going on, in every villages and towns all over the country.Me and my employer witnessed another year of celebration from thier liberation with invaders.Below are my few shoots that I cannot have much because one hand was holding my employer and other hand was with my camera and video.Oh...okay ..yes! I'm insane because I need it on blogosphere,lol.

Yom Ha'atzmaut (Hebrew: יום העצמאות‎ yom hā-‘aṣmā’ūṯ;) means the national Independence day of the State of Israel. Every year's celebration is always on the 5th of the Jewish month of Iyar, it centers around the declaration of the state of Israel by David Ben Gurion in Tel Aviv on May 14, 1948 and the end of the British Mandate of Palestine.It is always the day after Yom Hazikaron. I repeat saying again that the day in Georgian calendar for Jewish start after sunset.It's night life in some other countries.

Many Israelis celebrate the day with picnics and barbecues (known in Israeli slang as a "mangal" - from the Arabic word منقل meaning "stove"). In some parts of the country the eve of the holiday, people sing and dance in the streets. Balconies are decorated with Israeli flags, and small flags are attached to car windows or every where you can see thier flag hanging.

IN the dinning room ,dinner served in few minutes but they served first the "pita" so.. when the main menu come I finished already one pita.lol.
Programs started with the childrens on this village riding around bicycle and some are walking with flags hanging on their bikes.Next in dinning area then program history outside and the end by seeing fireworks.
There was also kids running back in fort waving flags in different sizes.

YOM HA'ZIKARON

In youtube videos you can see all people who witnesses this day in ISRAEL.There are videos shown in different locations and it's amazing to see all motorists stopping thier cars during the minutes of silence. Tonight is the "erev zikaron" which means the commemoration all thier fallen soldiers battled in ground and space for the next day liberation of holy land.Here in my work place have a corner in this village that all residents gathered and commemorates by offering songs, flowers , candle lighting and prayers while mentioning of all the names of those soldiers died during thier active duty as an army and all victims of terrorism. Names of those who are born here and those who live here before.It is a solemm program and so emotional to observed and watched.Tommorrow before eleven in the morning will have another one minute siren/alarm to the whole nation.

Yom Hazikaron is observed on the 4th day of the month of Iyar of the Hebrew calendar, always preceding the next day's celebrations of Israel Independence Day. It varies from year to year in the Gregorian calendar:
2006: May 2
2007: April 23 (postponed from April 22 due to the latter's proximity to the Sabbath)
2008: May 7 (moved from May 9 due to the latter's proximity to the Sabbath)
2009: April 28 (The day opens the preceding evening at 20:00 (8:00 pm), given that in the Hebrew calendar system days begin at sunset, with a one-minute siren during which most Israelis stand in silence, commemorating the fallen and showing respect).Here is the pictures taken at Mishmar Hasharon during thier night of commemoration.I just have these two pictures because my right hand holding my employer and the left hand holding camera.What a crazy life of caregiver and same time a blogger , lol.

I don't have my own videos where you can see motorists stopping during a one minute of silence.We caregivers are not allowed to leave our employer inside the home or work place without the permission of the family and there should be someone to replace before leaving the work place. I'm always on my work /duty everytime of the jewish holiday of each year and I only watched on tv live show of what is happening around.

COMPLICATED MIGRAINE

I HATE TO BE A WOMAN! Once a month I felt this way.To have a monthly period was very embarassing to me since I suffered this headache.Some of my friends called me "unfinished" that's why I have this migraine.I'm in the middle of the men and the woman they said.I am suffering this migraine since I was teenager.I do research since then but everything was a not found what I felt.It's complicates the way how it attacts on me. Expert studies by saying "two types of migraine" like MRM & PMM but for me I just felt both or only one kind not two types.I dont know and I dont want to go back and fort to some clinics for another check up.

****MRM(menstrual related migrane) is a headache of moderate-to-severe pain intensity that happens around the time of a woman’s period and at other times of the month as well.
****PMM(pure menstrual migraine) is similar in every respect but only occurs around the time of a woman’s period.
The exact causes of menstrual migraine are uncertain but evidence suggests there may be a link between menstruation and migraine due to the drop in estrogen levels that normally occurs right before the period starts.
****Menstrual migraine has been reported to be more likely to occur during a five-days, from two days before to two days after menstruation.

When compared with migraines that occur at other times of the month, menstrual migraines have been reported that it last longer—up to 72 hours, more severe, occur more often with nausea and vomiting- I'm not suffering this , be more difficult to treat—occur not frequently.

****every month that I have and felt this way my employer always asked me , so I need to explain her to avoid another complications on my work that not just severe but a total distruction of my life. lol.

G.RICE+extra thin noodles = instant SOUP

Ingredients are ginger,onions,garlic (cut into small pieces or in cubes),glutinous rice,chickens flavors,olive oil,salt,ground pepper and extra thin noodles - forgot to include in picture taking-hehehe. 1/2 chicken breast, boiled it better to make it extra soft or can be overcooked is much better then split into small pieces.
Heat olive oil in cooking pot and put ginger first then garlic and onions until it becomes light brown,I dont like golden brown it taste burned already.Then wash 1/2 cup of glutinous rice then put all together everything on a pot for a minute. Put one liter of boiled water and mix all ingredients. Boil until it becomes overcooked or sticky soft.

This is my 24 hours food which is good for four persons in just one meal.Hope this head ache will go away tommorow after I finished it all.(lugaw lng yan eh.hehehe.) I can survive vegetables also and like this kind of food if I'm not feeling well . I'm drinking of lot of water as if I'm drowning in myself then after 24 hours runny nose is coming again.
No..no...my employer was not eating what I cooked.They have here village kitchen with special employees doing it.I just get all her foods in the dining room and then pre-heat to serve.

YOM HAGEVURAH (21paril2009)

This morning I heard a sirens , a military alarm while I'm busy preparing my old woman .We need to attend her best friend funeral in Tel Aviv.Summer time with the temperature of 28 degrees maybe, thats what I feel only but still we need to go.Together with us was the youngest son , we brought the wheelchair to use in a long walk from the cementery gate up to where the grave was.No one had umbrella, no one using umbrella here during summer time, it was funny things I think if they saw one had around.Even my caps I forget to bring so we went back home that my head and eyes are deadly cracking- grrrr.

About the alarm/sirens , it was the time signal of stopping any where you are at any point you where in for the commemoration of haulocust day.Even if you are driving , you need to step down and stand up outside your car.It was a minute of sirens and silence.I heard that even if they are inside thier homes but me was not because I'm busy.It's almost finished when I opened the TV to see what's going on. There was a ceremonies attended by goverment officials offering prayers and flowers somewhere in the site they made in Jerusalem.

YOM HASHOAH (20April2009)

Last Sunday I saw mostly stores in the city selling flags that they will use to have flags displays around thier homes and everywhere in preparations of tonight's "erev hashoah" ceremonies. We did not attend the village ceremonies few minutes ago because my employer was very sad today when she heard that her best friend , a classmates of her eldest son and nieghbor for long time ago was died in lung cancer. Only two weeks when we saw each other in the dinning room when they are taking lunch with other friends.Everytime she came and saw me outside she always ask me where is my old woman ,and how am I doing with my work.A very nice woman at heart to everybody here.May she rest in peace.

Today's weather was very hot and hard to breath outside until sunset. My employer was in bad mood if the temperature was too high that even the food she don't want to eat.She's watching almost half of the day all programs on television showing thier history and some of what happened this day long time ago.Programs that all related in today's commemoration.

LONGEVITY in my own observations

After viewing the National Geographics featuring of thier expert touring three corners of the world searching the oldest humans that still alive and thier history was very interesting to me.I'm surfing the whole week of some related topics to compare my observations in my work of those ages 80 and above that I meet here.I have nieghbor in Tel Aviv before with a co-pilipino worker in her employer age 104 years old .They called me first what to do and I even speaking thier employers to explains and settle sometimes of thier differences . Not just two or five but its more that since I became caregiver.In Jerusalem I have also good friend working to an old woman of 106 years old when she died.Elderly men and woman I spoke in a certain period of time ,I have one thing that observed in common from them and came into my conclusions that this is one and first factor of making them living longer. It was the SENSE OF HUMOR I found.

According to encyclopedia's record - HUMOR - in early Western physiological theory, one of the four body fluids thought to determine a person's temperament and features. As hypothesized by Galen, the four cardinal humours were blood, phlegm, choler (yellow bile), and melancholy (black bile). The variant mixture of these humours in each person determined his “complexion” or temperament and his mental and physical qualities. The ideal person had the perfectly proportioned mixture of the four fluids; a disproportionate amount of one humour created a personality dominated by one set of related emotions like for example a choleric man was easily angered, proud, ambitious, and vengeful.

Second factor was the no accident .I could say YES too.Here once an elderly fell down like in a chair while sitting,in the bath room or even standing without any reasons and it was by accident, we caregivers are worried that this might be the lost of our employers. Not to the extent of because we needed it just for the sake of good record making caregivers to find good family to served with.Another family makes too hard sometimes during the adjustments period and it takes longer time or more than of what we had before.Always having comparisons of two families,the before family and the present to which impossible to be like each other.

ELDERLY CHOKES DURING MEALS

Last night's visitor was a kind of classy ,concerned to my elderly.She asked me why "I don't want to eat together with my employer". It was dinner time when she arrived without prior noticed.So no choice I let her in even my elderly was taking dinner.As much as possible I dont want to serve food specially the major meals like breakfast , lunch and dinner if someone is coming.Elderly are always talking if they are eating that cause CHOKING and sometimes goes to death.I agree that my employer is not in fragile situation but to avoid worse things to come is the best that I can do.The visitor sat down to the other dinning chair fronting to my employer and no stopping of telling the old,old stories.Time like this is not good ways of story telling. I know that one way of reminding things like telling old stories are great for her to see if she's on it . Reasons of they don't have time and today's visit is the only way but it is not the right time for elderly.So ..what I did was - I told them to stop talking because my employer was already start choking.It seems that the facial reactions of the visitor was kind of ugly me.It doesn't bother me either, I'm just doing the best thing to my work.My prayers everyday is the good health and life extensions of my employer then suddenly momments like this making me feel bad. I got nervous because how many caregiver have a case like this that the family blames putting to the caregivers.So I just watched her nearly and I can do the fastest way I could whatever needs she wants.

If choking occur to an elderly let her drink a small amount of water then let her stand up to strecth her back or spinal cord as much as possible.Instruct them to have a deep breath as much as they could.Walking inside the house is also good to let the air inside of that certain parts of the body will travel out and drinking water from time to time.It's a big fight by doing this but this is the only way to get her calmdown.Usually they got also nervous because it was a hard breath to do for the elderly.

Note:This is only what I did to my employer,some first aids have different approach and it depends upon the status or ages of the patient.Last thing to know that this is not a kind of major chokes, what happened last night was just an awareness of becoming big accidents.

UN-IMPORTANT THINGS that makes me HAPPY

I recieved another prize tagged from RECHIE of CHUCHIE'S HIDEAWAY.I made it on my own ways because we are differ in any kind of taste and of any happiness . Not just like an earlier tags and awards but it worth like a winning prize.I'm not planning to post this because the first time I read her post I know it already that I will spend more than a day of doing this.Since RECHIE is my eldest daughter place in my heart even we didin't meet yet personally I can't say NO to her.I did looking all of these since last night and not cleaning my room until I got finished today.I'm thankful also because of this award my things got well organized after so long time that I did not fixing it.You can see below what happened..

These are my manicure and pedicure sets that I'm doing it alone because it worth much here.Back home I have home service worker from the beauty parlor.Since I have foot allergy of more than a year I never touch all these stuffs anymore.
I'm using all of these stuffs only if there are special occasions.Everyday use was only the ponds cream.
I used multi-purpose bar-laundry soap before I went abroad but here take a look of all these things,every body parts has different usage,for hands,hair,for my toe,etc.While before "one for all" is enough.If you noticed the presence of vinegar here buzz me I will tell you, for womens only.
I can't find my jewelries ..so I grab my employer's jewelry box-just few for daily use only and for special occasions was kept in special box also.(sa sanlaan lahat ung akin eh - safe pa doon..hahahaha)

You see what happened to my drawers after all I found all of these stuffs?..So tired and hungry.

Top EC droppers-back from where I Strated

These are the EC droppers from March 13-April 13 that I need to put it back.It might confuse to those in the list because I started the wrong date of 13. I never thought nor asked anybody here that it should be at the end of the month. Everything was trial and error for me here in blogosphere.The more EC's I dropped the more things I've learned from different blogs. If I put it on the end of the month I need to subtract the total numbers of drops to which make confuses to some readers here, I know. EASTER EGG HUNTING-unplanned

No easter egg in this country that's why no egg hunting during easter Sunday here and they don't have this day on thier calendar.I saw a lot of colored plastic formed eggs in toys section of any groceries and departments stores.There is also here a chocolate formed like an egg, so anything that is formed like an eggs was considered as an ordinary toys and not for easter fun day.I never plan on this but it was happened this morning on my friend's house in HERZILEYYA.(note:names are privately kept here for some reason's).......

I went there early morning of about eight o'clock in the morning to have long and more fun stories to be told. We've friends since high school days and never heard after college days.Last year my friend knew what happened to my father and other news of me where I am then she found me in FRIENDSTER.COM thrue another friend.So we planned to meet for how many times but the schedule was always conflicting, I am stay in on my work and she has two kids of about five- a boy and four years old-a girl,so..she's busy for her daily twelve hours work as caregiver to an autism boy, plus her kids.Finally we meet this easter sunday. They are already prepared to go when I arrived.I noticed that the two kids have pacifier. But suddenly the girl said that she's hungry (emah ani ra-eva) so we went back to the kitchen for thier cornflakes with milk and for us a cup of coffee.In the middle of sweet stories the young girl again said she want to the comfort room(emah ani rotsa laleket la shirotim)but my friend left her to get her coffee and I'm watching the young boy.They are super active kids, I don't know what they are eating..hehehe. When we supposed to leave the little girl shouted again that she don't want to go without her pacifier.She don't even know where she kept it when she went to the comfort room.My friend was so angry and she's already yelling ,shouting,etc. that I joined them looking for it.We almost move everything inside the house for nearly one hour but nothing found.It's a bad day to heard words that I rarely heard in my entire life.I used to whisper my friend that I never shouted nor yelled since birth of my children then she stops and cry in one corner.So we decided not to go anymore, sit down and opened the two flat screen tv's .

After thirty minutes of calm down, I asked the little girl what she wants to bring outside if we will go to supermarket and buy something to eat like barbecue or fish that cook on fire.She stand up and pointed that baby doll cart in thier room.I found at the bottom and covered of all pink stuffs a colored plastic egg. Then I opened it and there was a pacifier inside .She run at me and said "that's mine"(ze sheli!)...

Whew!!!! what fascinating day I have today! hehehehe.

I just remembered when I supposed to go that I've been in easter egg hunting ..hahaha.So I went back to get photo shots the baby doll cart.
