Though it was "not certain" that he died directly as a result of the H1N1 virus, the Health Ministry said that a connection "could not be ruled out," and decided to count him as Israel's sixth victim.
The man was admitted to a regular ward at the hospital three days ago, suffering from a light fever, and having been already diagnosed with swine flu. During his stay at the hospital, his condition improved, but on Thursday morning, he suffered a heart attack and died.
